Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, discussed in a meeting that included a number of investors a proposal to establish an integrated entertainment and cultural city in the New Administrative Capital.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the government welcomes all new ideas, and the interest in researching, studying and evaluating the various projects proposed to be implemented, within the framework of the New Administrative Capital project, and new cities in general.
The Prime Minister called for an examination of the aspects and nature of cooperation in the project, and the financing assigned to it, especially since the cost of this project is very large, adding that the Administrative Capital, after becoming an investment area “A”, has a number of advantages determined by the investment law, which makes it have promising opportunities to attract investment in various fields.
For their part, the investors presented a report on the project, which aims to establish a huge entertainment center in the New Administrative Capital, to be a new and modern tourist attraction and a beacon that attracts those seeking culture, arts and entertainment tourism from visitors to Egypt and its citizens, so that it competes with many tourist markets in the region, and guarantees restoration Egyptian leadership in the areas of soft power.
They emphasized that this project is gigantic and is based on benefiting from the enormous potentials that are being established in the New Administrative Capital from parks and artistic houses such as opera and theaters.
Through the formulation and implementation of an integrated and sustainable strategic plan to organize international and local artistic events and festivals, by concluding partnerships with cities and international entertainment centers to provide a complete entertainment environment that stimulates investment and supports the arts.
In addition to holding artistic events for major stars and famous singing bands locally, regionally and internationally, as well as international entertainment shows and artistic, cultural and popular festivals that simulate what is held in the famous capitals of the world.
The investors added that the proposed vision includes the establishment of a number of open and closed cultural and entertainment parks, provided that they are prepared to receive the events and the target audience, with cooperation with major international amusement parks companies in order to implement attractive artistic events according to professional international standards that keep pace with the latest global technologies in this field.
